AI Product Engineer (Frontend/SDK)

hirify.global is hiring for an AI product engineering role focused on frontend solutions, SDK development, and complex media features.

What you will do

• Design and ship robust frontend solutions using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, publish, and maintain SDKs, including public APIs, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Build features involving REST APIs, authentication, session management, data synchronization, and offline-first behavior.
• Design real-time communication and low-latency streaming experiences using WebSockets, WebRTC, HLS, and DASH.
• Implement and maintain custom media pipelines, audio processing, and audio/video synchronization.
• Own features from concept through deployment while collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and deep knowledge of frontend architecture, MVVM or similar patterns, browser internals, system-level APIs, and performance optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, OAuth or token-based authentication, refresh token rotation, and API versioning.
• Advanced experience with WebSockets, WebRTC or similar peer-to-peer technologies, low-latency streaming, adaptive bitrate streaming, audio codecs, and media synchronization.
• Experience publishing npm packages, debugging with tools such as Charles Proxy, Postman, or Wireshark, and following Git best practices.
• Experience leading code reviews, mentoring junior developers, establishing engineering practices, and contributing to open-source projects or public knowledge sharing.
