Senior Technical Training Developer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Addlestone, United Kingdom. Duties may be performed in an office or at customer facilities and require approximately 5% travel.

What you will do

• Define the technical vision, requirements, scope, workflow, and curriculum for new training offerings and learning paths.
• Design and develop technical training for customers, employees, and channel partners across instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, blended, micro-module, and hands-on lab formats.
• Manage multiple course development projects, including plans, schedules, milestones, scope, and status communication.
• Coordinate subject matter experts, course developers, technical writers, and trainers to complete content within specified timelines.
• Update training materials for product releases, coordinate beta teaching, and incorporate trainer and learner feedback.
• Deliver technical product training and Train-the-Trainer classes, audit class delivery, and identify improvements.

Requirements

• Formal training in adult education or instructional design for technical knowledge areas.
• At least 8 years of experience in instructional design or technical content development.
• At least 6 years of technical training delivery experience and 3 years of experience in the computer networking industry.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration with engineers, technical writers, and trainers.
• Technical expertise with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and rapid authoring tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, Python or Bash, Git, Linux/Unix, web application development, and AI concepts.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, internetworking technology, or education.
