Windchill Application Developer (Windchill PLM)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $105,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements on the Windchill PLM platform.
• Translate manufacturing and product-lifecycle requirements into well-engineered Windchill solutions.
• Collaborate with PLM functional consultants and stakeholders across product, design, engineering, operations, and business functions.
• Apply Windchill Java APIs, workflows, lifecycle templates, object initialization rules, and integration patterns.
• Contribute to code reviews and design reviews while mentoring junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PTC Windchill development experience; the role requests six or more years of overall experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API, workflows, lifecycle templates, object initialization rules, and Info*Engine.
• Experience with JSP/HTML client customization, SQL, the Windchill data model, upgrades, and migrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• PTC Windchill certifications.
• Experience with Creo, Arbortext, Windchill RV&S, Integrity, or ThingWorx integration.
• Familiarity with CAD data management workflows.
• Experience operating Windchill on cloud platforms.
