Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$168,000 per year, depending on geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, release, and maintain scalable Salesforce and CRM solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, implementation plans, and maintainable software.
• Develop custom Salesforce capabilities and integrations using Apex, APIs, automation, and platform features.
• Build and operate integrations between Salesforce and business applications, services, and data sources.
• Own projects from planning through delivery, including documentation, monitoring, support, and technical debt management.
• Investigate production issues, integration failures, and data problems while improving engineering workflows with automation and AI tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering, business applications engineering, or comparable experience.
• Strong experience building and supporting Salesforce or other CRM-based business applications.
• Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, platform events, APIs, webhooks, data models, authentication, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or CRM Analytics.
• Experience with version control, code review, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and Agile delivery.
• Ability to work independently, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, privacy, bias, and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with data migration, synchronization, archiving, data quality, observability, incident response, or operational support.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled workflow automation, copilots, agents, or natural-language interfaces.
