Software Development Engineer I – III (Salesforce)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in an office in Salt Lake City, Boise, Fargo, Portland, Vancouver, Renton, Medford, Burlington, or Lewiston, United States. Preference is given to candidates within commuting distance or willing to relocate.

Salary: $72,000–$208,000 annually depending on level and location, plus a target bonus of 10%–15% where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems through real-time and batch APIs and third-party applications.
• Build and support solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Troubleshoot issues found during testing and in production.
• Provide technical guidance to Salesforce administrators on validation rules, formula fields, data exports, and basic coding questions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements and delivery of complex business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a multi-platform application or database development environment; 3+ years for level II and 5+ years for level III.
• Experience or familiarity with Salesforce development, APIs, version control, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, CI/CD, containerization, secure development, authentication, and OWASP risks.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work three days per week in a listed United States office or be within commuting distance or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Flows, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce security configuration.
• Experience with Git, Copado, REST integrations, and Salesforce data visibility troubleshooting.
