The Graphene Engineering & Innovation Centre at the hirify.global develops and commercialises graphene, 2D materials, and advanced material processes for industry.

What you will do

• Develop and process fibre reinforced plastic materials.
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art laboratories and technical facilities.
• Ensure laboratories and facilities run to high operational standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the 2D materials laboratories.
• Work with GEIC technical support teams to deliver scalable up processing capability for industry partners.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in composites materials development and processing.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory facilities safely and effectively.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary materials and technical support teams.
• Availability to work at the Manchester facility is required for laboratory-based activities.
