Program Manager- PEG/DAG Public Affairs (DoD Acquisition): Supporting U.S. Air Force fighter and advanced aircraft programs across acquisition planning, program oversight, lifecycle management, and public affairs with an accent on requirements, schedules, risk, testing, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on developing acquisition documentation, assessing program and contractor schedules, coordinating milestone reviews, and managing public affairs materials and communications for senior leadership.

What you will do
- Support U.S. Air Force fighter and advanced aircraft acquisition programs from concept development through fielding, sustainment, and modernization.
- Develop and coordinate acquisition strategies, requirements documents, milestone packages, business cases, life-cycle plans, test plans, and executive briefings.
- Build and maintain integrated master schedules, evaluate contractor and Government schedules, and support schedule risk assessments using network and Monte Carlo analysis tools.
- Assist with risk management, process improvement, logistics, earned value management, integrated product teams, program reviews, and acquisition decision processes.
- Coordinate capability planning, urgent operational needs, systems integration, modeling and simulation, and cross-functional collaboration across USAF and Government stakeholders.
- Manage public affairs activities, including social media approvals, media responses, executive scripts and videos, SharePoint content, newsletters, conferences, and media training for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant technical or professional experience, including three years in the DoD; alternatively, seven years of directly related experience with required certifications, including five years in the DoD.
- Knowledge of DoD and USAF acquisition regulations, guidelines, processes, and program life-cycle phases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Skype/Lync, as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency with Government virtual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and the ability to learn specialized applications as needed.
