People Operations Intern (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Coordinate onboarding, including contracts, offer paperwork, right-to-work checks, and internal system setup.
• Support offboarding administration, exit paperwork, final checks, and employee record updates.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and update HR trackers and dashboards.
• Run routine headcount, absence, and turnover reports and help correct data inconsistencies.
• Schedule interviews, liaise with candidates and hiring managers, and support job advert posting.
• Respond to general employee queries and support HR documentation and ad hoc People team projects.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in starting a career in HR or People Operations.
• Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets.
• Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Degree or ongoing study in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using AI.
• Prior experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system.
