Process Engineer (Industrial Simulation)

What you will do

• Build, configure, validate and run dynamic process simulation models using K-Spice® and LedaFlow®.
• Integrate dynamic models with industrial control systems.
• Prepare and deliver simulators for engineering testing, design verification, virtual commissioning and operator training.
• Work with customers and stakeholders to translate operational requirements into simulation solutions and provide technical advice.
• Take technical ownership of complete simulator deliveries or major work packages, coordinating process, control and software activities.
• Support technical reviews, testing, troubleshooting, customer acceptance, simulator-building improvements and product development.

Requirements

• BSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Professional experience in process engineering, process operations, industrial automation, dynamic simulation or a related environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes and processing facilities.
• Ability to structure and solve complex technical problems.
• Experience working with customers or other technical stakeholders.
• Confidence taking ownership of technical deliverables and working across engineering and software disciplines.
• Collaborative, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a process operator.
• Experience with dynamic process simulation, industrial control systems, energy operations or similar industrial environments.
• Interest or experience in Python programming, digitalization, industrial AI, energy-transition technologies, or CO₂ capture, transportation and storage.
