Technical Unit Structure Data Maintenance Engineer (SAP)

Location: Lisbon, Amadora, Portugal; hybrid remote/office work. Remote work is permitted within Portugal.

What you will do

• Maintain and update technical unit configuration structures for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators in SAP using field feedback.
• Investigate and correct missing or inaccurate part data to resolve historical machine-structure backlogs.
• Create, modify, and integrate material master records into unit configuration structures.
• Act as the primary technical contact for material master inquiries, unit structure requests, and process improvements.
• Perform regular quality checks on unit data to support technical clarification, spare parts planning, and catalogue creation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Professional experience in technical data maintenance, configuration management, or engineering data structures.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP, Siemens Teamcenter PLM, and Microsoft Office 365, including advanced Excel.
• Strong technical knowledge of material master management, unit configuration structures, and turbine or generator specifications.
• Capability in data cleansing, validation, root cause analysis, and data structure mapping.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and strong technical communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
