Market Data Manager, CIB (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid role based in London or Birmingham, with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £61,000–£87,000 per year, dependent on location and experience

What you will do

• Manage market data vendors and contracts end to end, including onboarding, implementation, and supplier performance.
• Oversee market data inventory, access management, usage reporting, entitlement records, and cost allocation.
• Identify and manage regulatory, commercial, and operational risks through established governance processes.
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers including Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange Group to align market data provision with business requirements.
• Evaluate solutions, identify cost mitigation opportunities, and support a sustainable target operating model.
• Monitor industry, vendor, and regulatory developments and use this insight to advise the business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with market data or market data services in financial services, a market data provider, or a data services business.
• Experience managing market data vendors or client relationships, including contract implementation, usage considerations, and commercial or service discussions.
• 5+ years of experience with market data inventory, entitlement models, licence records, or usage reporting.
• Experience identifying and managing regulatory, commercial, and operational risks.
• Experience providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, or supervision to colleagues.
• Analytical and structured thinking, including evaluating options and supporting cost optimisation or efficiency improvements.
