TL;DR

London / Birmingham. Hybrid working: at least two days per week (40% of time) in office.

Leading UK bank rebooting finance through Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), partnering with vendors like Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange Group.

What you will do

  • Manage market data vendors and contracts end-to-end, including onboarding, implementation, and performance oversight.
  • Oversee market data inventory, usage records, access management, reporting, and cost allocation.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks (regulatory, commercial, operational) through governance processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to align market data solutions with business requirements.
  • Drive optimisation, cost mitigation, and sustainable operating models.
  • Monitor industry, vendor, and regulatory developments to inform decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with market data or services in financial services, market data provider, or data services business.
  • Experience managing market data vendors/clients, contracts, usage, and commercial discussions.
  • 5+ years with market data inventory, entitlements, licences, or usage reporting.
  • Strong risk identification and management skills across regulatory, commercial, and operational areas.
  • Day-to-day leadership, coaching, or supervision experience.
  • Analytical thinking for evaluating options, data interpretation, and efficiency improvements.
