UI/UX Design Intern (AI)

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32.00 CAD per hour, payable in common shares of the Corporation at fair market value

What you will do

• Design and improve interfaces for internal tools, operational dashboards, internal portals, and team workflows.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for new features and internal system improvements.
• Gather feedback from internal users and conduct usability testing sessions with staff.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to align designs with requirements and technical constraints.
• Iterate on layouts, navigation, information hierarchy, and workflows to improve internal productivity.
• Document design changes and help maintain internal design guidelines or a style guide.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design, supported by an academic or personal portfolio.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, incorporate feedback, manage multiple design iterations, and meet deadlines.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have

• Interest or previous experience in enterprise software, admin panels, or internal-facing applications.
• Master’s-level enrollment or completion.
