Product UI/Visual & Interaction Designer Intern (AI)

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32 per hour

What you will do

• Design high-fidelity user interfaces and visual assets for web and mobile products.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the design system and component libraries.
• Design interactive motion behaviors, animations, and micro-interactions that improve usability.
• Collaborate with product designers, researchers, and engineers to bring concepts to life.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate designs based on feedback and usability testing.
• Stay current with UI design, interaction design, and accessibility standards.

Requirements

• Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory in Visual Design, UI Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design and interaction concepts.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
• Strong attention to typography, color, layout, and design craftsmanship.
• Understanding of interaction design principles and animation or motion design fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
