Mechanical Engineer (Intern)

What you will do

• Support Manufacturing Engineers with daily production processes and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and update manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and engineering records.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data to support operational decisions.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Assist with new product introduction, process validation, and evaluation of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Previous academic project or laboratory experience.
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, and continuous improvement.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
