What you will do

• Prepare and control financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across product lines.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Manage internal control systems and ensure compliance with tax obligations and regulations.
• Optimize the automation of ERP and accounting tools including Netsuite, Payhawk, and Ramp.
• Analyze financial performance metrics and report variances to provide business insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial reporting with strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

• Around 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or financial management.
• Degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in a senior audit position, Big 4 firm, or within a start-up/scale-up environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and tools like Netsuite, Payhawk, Ramp, Oracle, or SAGE.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal.

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
