Senior Cloud Security Operations Analyst (Cloud Security)

Location: Sydney, Australia. Australian citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Monitor Pega Cloud commercial environments using security tools, dashboards, and detection systems.
• Investigate security events and identify indicators of compromise.
• Support incident response across identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Conduct threat hunts for adversarial activity within Pega Cloud.
• Develop SOPs, policies, playbooks, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations.
• Build high-confidence Splunk notables and situational-awareness dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship is required.
• 4+ years of relevant information security experience, including knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and resources.
• 2+ years of operational SIEM experience covering analysis, investigations, and incident response.
• 2+ years of operational cloud security experience with AWS and/or GCP, including analysis of CloudTrail, Cloud Audit, GuardDuty, VPC Flow, and WAF logs.
• 2+ years of operational experience with EDR/XDR platforms, plus experience with Linux, Windows, AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, operating systems, network architecture, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• Google Chronicle SIEM experience.
• SANS, Offensive Security, or other advanced technical security certifications.
• Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting experience.
