Cloud Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Build reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules, guardrails, policies, and reference architectures using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools.
• Develop security automation and integrate secret scanning, code scanning, dependency review, and policy checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor cloud security posture and platform reliability, triage findings, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and support root-cause analysis.
• Secure infrastructure for identity, privileged access, security logging, threat hunting, and cybersecurity applications including Ping, SailPoint, CyberArk, and CrowdStrike Falcon LogScale on Amazon EKS.
• Evaluate and operationalize agentic security capabilities, including AI-assisted testing, detection, response, and vulnerability remediation with human-in-the-loop controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on cloud, platform, or security engineering experience.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and automation or scripting with Python.
• Understanding of cloud-native networking, identity, encryption, and security fundamentals.
• Experience working collaboratively in agile, cross-functional engineering environments.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud experience and familiarity with CSPM/CNAPP, SIEM, log analytics, vulnerability management, or application security tools.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or GKE security.
• Experience with IAM/SSO, identity governance, privileged access management, Spacelift, or OpenTofu.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, regulated environments, or relevant cloud and security certifications.
• Interest in AI and agentic security tooling, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
