Solution Architect - Infrastructure & Networks

An international organization operating across complex, multi-site environments with on-premises, cloud, and manufacturing infrastructure.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end infrastructure and network solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.
• Produce high-level designs, low-level designs, technical designs, architecture roadmaps, and other architecture artefacts.
• Define architecture patterns for LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, datacentres, endpoint environments, and identity integration.
• Embed security-by-design principles and support compliance with ISO 27001 and NIS2.
• Provide technical governance and assurance through architecture forums and design reviews.
• Lead technical planning, risk management, vendor evaluation, and improvements to resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant experience in infrastructure and network architecture across enterprise networking, cloud, datacentres, and virtualisation.
• Strong understanding of security principles and experience in regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Ability to collaborate across IT, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, infrastructure operations, project delivery, and business teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in multi-site or international organizations and familiarity with hybrid infrastructure models.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern networking approaches such as zero trust.
