WordPress Developer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, with an opportunity to work hybrid from Toronto or Chicago.

Compensation: $32 per hour.

What you will do

• Build, update, and maintain WordPress websites with reliable functionality, speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
• Optimize SEO, website performance, and responsive user experiences.
• Integrate content, layouts, graphics, and multimedia elements with marketing and design teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct website audits, and maintain security and stability.
• Manage plugins and use Google Analytics and related tools to monitor engagement and report performance insights.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA or related master’s degree focused on communications or marketing.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development or customization.
• Understanding of responsive design, Google Analytics, Search Console, and performance monitoring tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
