Web Developer (WordPress)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be authorized to work and reside in the United States. Optional quarterly travel for in-person company events and other meetings.

Salary: $75–$85 per hour, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, custom themes, and plugins.
• Build landing pages, campaign pages, and site sections with Marketing and Design.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible front-end code.
• Optimize page speed, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, security, and WordPress configuration.
• Integrate CRM, marketing automation, analytics platforms, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues, support QA, and maintain documented code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with significant WordPress expertise.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Experience with WordPress VIP, its hosting environment, deployment workflows, and code standards.
• Experience with page builders, marketing and analytics integrations, web performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and WordPress security.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, independent work, multiple priorities, and asynchronous written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B technology or cybersecurity companies.
• Familiarity with headless WordPress or REST API integrations.
