Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Hybrid work based in hirify.global corporate offices in McLean, Virginia, or Dayton, Ohio, United States

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect and implement enterprise data management products, including Oracle Integrated Cloud and PowerCenter.
• Provide technology leadership to a managed services team and guide software development activities across the full lifecycle.
• Design, code, test, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code scripts using Shell Scripting, Windows PowerShell, Python, and other languages.
• Assess hosting-environment risks and impacts, support knowledge transfer, and develop infrastructure tools, guidelines, and conventions.
• Build monitoring strategies and instrument Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with clients and software development teams to define infrastructure requirements, technical specifications, and test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in software infrastructure development and management.
• At least 2 years of Infrastructure as a Service experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong technical design, development, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile development, preferably Scrum, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Active Security+ certification and eligibility for a security clearance are required; an active Secret clearance is preferred.
