Assistant Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Afton, Texas, United States; work takes place on data center project sites and in both field and office settings.

National construction lifecycle partner providing critical electrical, mechanical, structural, inspection, underground maintenance and installation, and fabrication services across the United States.

What you will do

• Maintain the daily project diary and help establish project priorities.
• Enter and approve daily timecards.
• Track project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, and onsite inventory.
• Compile cycle times and production information for historical records.
• Gather pay-item quantities and document extra-work items.
• Prepare timely billing and reporting to support profit margins and positive cash flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• Experience in construction on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel.
• Strong work ethic, prioritization ability, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in both field and office settings and in a high-production, fast-moving environment.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability; driving records are subject to a DMV background search.

Nice to have

• Data center experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil disciplines.
