Ab Initio Developer

Location: Hybrid in McLean, Virginia, or Dayton, Ohio, United States

Salary: $130,00–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio ETL workflows for enterprise data integration.
• Build and optimize data pipelines connecting databases, APIs, legacy systems, and heterogeneous data sources.
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate ETL jobs for reliability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions with technical and business stakeholders.
• Document ETL processes and support quality and change management compliance.
• Modernize legacy business rules using the Ab Initio Business Rules Engine.

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise ETL and data integration experience.
• 5+ years of development experience, including at least 1 year with Ab Initio.
• Hands-on expertise with Ab Initio GDE, Conduct>IT, Express>IT, and EME.
• Experience integrating APIs, legacy systems, and heterogeneous data sources, including performance troubleshooting and optimization.
• Experience in an Agile development environment and with APIs supporting low-code development models.
• U.S. citizenship, active security clearance, and active DoD 8570 IAT I certification such as A+ or SSCA are required.
