Senior Finance Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Settle transactions with card networks, FX providers, and remittance partners, and approve user refunds and cashback disbursements.
• Own daily reconciliation across top-ups, withdrawals, purchases, and other payment flows using bank statements, partner data, and internal records.
• Forecast settlement inflows and outflows to maintain sufficient prefunding and liquidity for settlement obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate reconciliation variances, resolve complex breaks, and partner with Product and Engineering to improve systems and controls.
• Prepare regulatory and partner reports and provide settlement journals, accruals, and reconciliation support for month-end and year-end close.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering on new features, reporting requirements, settlement cut-offs, tax implications, testing, implementation, process automation, and AI tool adoption; build and lead a team of 5+.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across finance operations, settlement, treasury, or financial control, ideally in fintech, payments, or banking.
• Proven experience managing teams of 5 or more.
• Strong understanding of payment flows, reconciliation, card networks, and multi-currency operations.
• Experience with settlement, prefunding, liquidity, and regulatory or partner reporting, such as MAS reporting.
• Strong controls mindset, attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, communication skills, and business acumen.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CPA, or ACCA is an advantage.
