Financial Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Singapore; based in the Singapore office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Manage controls for customer and firm cash, suspense accounts, back-office risks, and exception handling.
• Execute daily trust and custody computations by the 12:00 PM SGT deadline in compliance with Singapore regulations.
• Manage MT940 Swift messages and API data feeds, extract ledger balances, download statements, and reconcile security quantities with sub-custodian records.
• Verify that customer assets are free from liens and encumbrances and monitor financial resources against Total Risk Requirement limits.
• Prepare and submit quarterly MAS-Tx filings, including Forms 1, 2, and 7.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting, Treasury, RHS Clearing, and Engineering on system migrations, report automation, and global entity reporting.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of MAS Risk-Based Capital frameworks, SF(LCB)R requirements, and Singapore broker-dealer capital requirements.
• 5+ years of experience in financial operations or regulatory reporting at a Singapore broker-dealer or financial institution.
• Experience with back-office ledger systems, Swift/API data feeds, and reporting automation using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage time-sensitive regulatory deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with global teams across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or data visualization tools such as Superset.
