Finance Intern (Fintech)

Location: Singapore; full-time, six-month internship with work based in a CBD office.

What you will do

• Maintain the general ledger, accounting records, supporting schedules, journal entries, and account adjustments.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, supplier invoices, customer receivables, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing journals, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports, statutory financial statements, and audit schedules.
• Reconcile digital asset balances across wallets, exchanges, and custodians, including asset-liability management and customer asset segregation accounts.
• Support mark-to-market valuations, settlement monitoring, MAS regulatory reporting, capital calculations, blockchain discrepancy investigations, impairment assessments, and system implementation projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to commit to a six-month, full-time internship in Singapore.
