Senior Finance Manager (R&D)

Location: Alameda, California, United States; office-based

Salary: $152,000–$215,000 annually, with additional bonus eligibility and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Pharmaceutical Operations and Supply Chain leaders to align financial results with corporate objectives.
• Develop bottoms-up financial forecasts and monitor performance against plan.
• Own financial planning for CMC groups, including manufacturing, validation, drug substance, drug product, testing, and biologics.
• Support monthly close activities and validate PSC accruals with Accounting.
• Develop clinical trial forecasts with study delivery leads and update clinical site accrual models.
• Serve as the FP&A contact for PSC CAPEX and support strategic ad hoc analyses.

Requirements

• BS/BA with 9 years of related experience, MS/MBA/MA with 7 years, or an equivalent combination.
• CMC or technical operations forecasting experience.
• At least 5 years of public biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience.
• At least 5 years in a business-partner-facing finance role.
• Experience with financial planning systems such as Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong analytical, strategic, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and cross-functional partnership skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
