Consultant MRI Software Engineer (F/M/X)

What you will do

• Support client R&D projects involving MRI systems and medical imaging technology.
• Develop, integrate, maintain, and test software for MRI systems and subsystems, including system control, data acquisition, communication, diagnostics, imaging, and user interfaces.
• Translate system and functional requirements into software requirements and practical technical solutions.
• Integrate software with MRI hardware, electronics, mechanical components, and other system elements.
• Debug software and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and design system-level tests.
• Support new MRI functionality, prototypes, verification, validation, commissioning, technical documentation, and system handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience with MRI systems or MRI-related technology is required.
• Hands-on experience developing, integrating, testing, or troubleshooting software within MRI equipment or complex technical systems.
• Strong programming experience in C, C++, Python, or other relevant languages.
• Understanding of MRI system functionality, including system control, data acquisition, imaging, reconstruction, or signal processing.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and independent problem-solving skills are expected.
