System Engineer (RF and SerDes)

What you will do

• Define system-level architectures and specifications for new semiconductor products.
• Gather requirements, conduct system analysis, and translate product needs into technical solutions.
• Build system models for feasibility studies, trade-off analysis, risk assessment, and architecture proposals.
• Work with design and verification teams to map system requirements into implementation.
• Develop system-level test plans for robust IC functionality and performance.
• Serve as a technical interface for customers and contribute to process improvements, patents, and technical publications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in system engineering, embedded systems, and semiconductor IC product development.
• Strong experience in mmW V-band wireless communication system design and performance analysis.
• Experience specifying 10G SerDes, including CTLE, VGA, DFE, CDR, PLL, high-speed clocks, jitter budgeting, and analysis.
• Experience with analog-mixed-signal product specification and development.
• Strong programming and modeling skills in C, C++, MATLAB, and Python; excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to improve productivity and efficiency.
