ESG & CSR - SDG Specialist - Masters-Level Internship (AI)

Location: Remote, with hybrid options in Toronto

Compensation: $32 per hour

What you will do

• Map company operations, projects, and initiatives to relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Develop clear, measurable targets for SDG-aligned outcomes across the organization.
• Monitor progress, analyze KPIs, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Integrate SDG principles into business strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Engage partners, industry groups, and regulatory bodies on sustainability initiatives.
• Research global sustainability developments, support internal training, and advocate for SDG integration.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a mandatory Master's program in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or SDG-focused roles.
• Strong knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with ESG reporting frameworks and tools such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
