SMS Specialist (Telecom)

Location: San Mateo, United States; remote work is available by default in supported locations across the United States, the UK, Singapore, and Canada.

Salary: $66,000–$80,000 annual base salary for the New York and California positions, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Submit and track 10DLC brand and campaign registrations through vetting, rejection, and resubmission.
• Manage operational communication with Twilio, Infobip, and future messaging providers, driving tickets to closure.
• Prepare RCS agent applications and manage approval pipelines through final decisions.
• Track provisioning for phone numbers, short codes, sender IDs, and toll-free verification.
• Coordinate with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Sales to keep registration status visible.
• Maintain runbooks and reporting on registration volume, approval times, and rejection reasons.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in telecom, messaging, trust and safety, or technical operations.
• Direct experience with 10DLC registration or comparable regulated submission and approval processes.
• Strong organizational skills and persistence in moving approvals through slow queues.
• Clear written communication and the ability to provide precise status updates.
• Ability to prioritize multiple submissions and escalations simultaneously.
• Understanding of SMS deliverability and carrier compliance concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Twilio or Infobip consoles, the WhatsApp Business Platform, or RCS.
