Broker of Record (Commercial Real Estate)

hirify.global is a publicly listed North American company that creates and manages built environments and is launching a new NAI-affiliated commercial real estate brokerage in the Greater Toronto Area.

What you will do

• Serve as the brokerage’s designated Broker of Record and primary regulatory authority.
• Oversee compliance with Ontario real estate legislation, TRESA, and RECO requirements.
• Advise brokers and salespersons on regulatory, compliance, and professional practice matters.
• Review brokerage policies, processes, marketing materials, and transaction practices for compliance.
• Oversee trust account and FINTRAC obligations where applicable.
• Support audits, inspections, inquiries, reporting, risk governance, and the development of a professional compliance culture.

Requirements

• Current RECO registration in good standing as a Broker.
• Eligibility and willingness to serve as Broker of Record in Ontario.
• Significant experience in an Ontario real estate brokerage environment.
• Strong knowledge of TRESA, RECO requirements, and brokerage compliance obligations.
• Sound judgment, credibility, independent oversight, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial real estate experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Previous Broker of Record, Deputy Broker of Record, Branch Manager, or Brokerage Manager experience.
• Experience in a commercial real estate brokerage.
• Exposure to a national or international brokerage network.
• Familiarity with commercial property management, facilities management, or related real estate services.
