Manager Manufacturing Test Engineering (AI)

Location: Spokane Valley, United States. Travel to contract manufacturing facilities is required.

Annual base pay: $122,400–$183,600, plus potential incentive compensation, bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage engineers supporting outsourced manufacturing and test deployment.
• Lead the development and transfer of test plans to contract manufacturer sites, including implementation and technician training.
• Collaborate with NPI, product design, supplier quality, and manufacturing partners on product launches and test issues.
• Monitor factory test yields and drive quality, cost, and infrastructure improvements.
• Improve internal software tools for factory test operations and adopt AI for troubleshooting and predictive anomaly detection.
• Coordinate test networking infrastructure maintenance, team scheduling, hiring, mentoring, and onboarding.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge and experience with automated hardware test technologies.
• Experience leading complex product test initiatives from concept through release.
• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience; alternative paths include 3 years with a master's degree or 2 years with a PhD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain manufacturing test engineering concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Ability to travel to contract manufacturing facilities.
