Senior Software Engineer (Python/Elixir)

Location: Remote in Mexico; an office in Mexico City is available for optional collaboration. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Mexico without sponsorship, now and in the future.

What you will do

• Design and develop features for the product suite.
• Build and support scalable production web applications across the full stack.
• Work with Python, Elixir, JavaScript, Next.js, React, and related web technologies.
• Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude and Codex for development, problem-solving, documentation, and productivity.
• Contribute ideas and technical improvements to the product line and collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience building scalable web applications, preferably with Elixir, Python, Django, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud service, Linux-based containers, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies.
• Established practice of writing unit and integration tests.
• Active use of AI tools and modern developer platforms to improve engineering quality and productivity.
• Strong written and spoken English is required, and candidates must already have the legal right to work in Mexico without sponsorship.
