TL;DR
Fullstack Software Engineer (Java/Angular): Building scalable, flexible, user-friendly cloud-native applications and reusable UI components for NielsenIQ’s Connect data platform with an accent on Java backend development, Angular interfaces, RESTful APIs, and relational and NoSQL data access. Focus on designing highly available, low-latency services, integrating multiple data sources, and developing microservices-based applications.

Location: Remote from Ciudad de México, Mexico

What you will do

  • Develop complex, maintainable code for scalable and user-friendly applications.
  • Build backend services with Java and frontend interfaces with JavaScript, Node, and Angular.
  • Design reusable UI components for multiple applications.
  • Develop highly available, low-latency, cloud-native applications.
  • Integrate first- and third-party data sources through efficient RESTful APIs.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases and contribute to microservices-based systems.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals across frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Experience designing frontend UIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integration, microservices architecture, SDLC practices, and agile environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
