Cyber Security Analyst & Vulnerability Management Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, based in the United States, with frequent nationwide travel to job sites and data centers of up to 50%.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own and administer the enterprise vulnerability management program using Tenable platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments across servers, endpoints, cloud services, applications, and network infrastructure.
• Analyze exploitability and business risk, prioritize remediation, validate fixes, and manage rescanning and exceptions.
• Monitor and investigate MDR alerts, malware events, unauthorized access attempts, and other suspicious activity.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, recovery, after-action reviews, and improvements with MDR providers.
• Review security-related change requests, participate in CAB meetings, and communicate risks and mitigation requirements to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security operations, or information security.
• Experience managing enterprise vulnerability management programs and responding to security incidents and MDR findings.
• Experience reviewing and approving technology-related change requests.
• Advanced experience with Tenable Vulnerability Management and strong experience with CrowdStrike Falcon.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, identity security, and network security concepts.
• Experience producing risk and remediation reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
