Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid work with four days per week in the office

hirify.global operates a large cybersecurity organization covering engineering, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, firewall, governance, risk, architecture, and offensive security.

What you will do

• Manage cybersecurity issues throughout intake, assignment, remediation validation, and closure.
• Coordinate with issue owners and technical stakeholders to document remediation plans, milestones, target dates, and progress.
• Follow up on remediation efforts, identify obstacles, escalate risks and delays, and drive accountability.
• Interpret technical issues across network, Active Directory, web application, cloud, and infrastructure security domains.
• Coordinate with Offensive Security and other cybersecurity teams on finding status and validation requirements.
• Maintain remediation records and deliver reporting on progress, aging issues, trends, and cybersecurity risk posture.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in a large and complex business environment, preferably with senior management exposure.
• Experience in remediation management, issues management, vulnerability management, or a similar cybersecurity role.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerabilities, threats, security controls, and common technology domains.
• Familiarity with security and reconnaissance tools and basic scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or similar cybersecurity frameworks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with UML design tools, Visio, Microsoft Office, issue tracking, workflow management, reporting, or cybersecurity platforms.
• Experience with SSH, serial connections, TMSH, network and VLAN segmentation, and technical writing.
• Information security certifications.
