Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development of machine learning, deep learning, AI, optimization, simulation, data mining, and multivariate statistical solutions.
• Source, cleanse, engineer, and validate data while maintaining reproducibility, quality assurance, and model governance.
• Deploy, monitor, retrain, and manage the lifecycle of production models in collaboration with Data Engineering and ML Engineering.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and R&D to identify opportunities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Design A/B tests and quasi-experimental analyses, establish success metrics, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve analytics platforms and mentor junior data scientists through code reviews, methodology guidance, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field; equivalent practical experience is considered.
• 4+ years of experience developing and deploying advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical models in production.
• Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, supervised and unsupervised learning, forecasting, experimentation, causal inference, and optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R, plus 2+ years of SQL experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Spark.
• Experience with pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM, or statsmodels.
• Experience with Git, Docker, MLflow, CI/CD, model monitoring, production support, complex project leadership, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• PhD in a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Gurobi, PuLP, or similar optimization frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure analytics and machine learning services, including Databricks, Synapse, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Experience building dashboards and analytical applications with Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly Dash.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods, retail, demand forecasting, pricing, marketing mix modeling, assortment optimization, or supply chain optimization.
