TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML): Design, research & architect AI/ML solutions across the enterprise with an accent on building data-driven models for market transparency, efficiency, and integrity. Location: Boston, Massachusetts (hybrid — at least 3 days a week in office)

Salary: $95,000 - $166,000 base pay range

What you will do

• Design, research, and architect AI/ML solutions across the enterprise.
• Develop data-driven approaches to address complex challenges in the financial industry.
• Analyze and present findings, insights, and potential KPI impact to non-technical partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align data science initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML/AI Engineer, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• Strong fundamentals of statistics and machine learning (hypothesis testing, p-values, confidence intervals, regression, classification, optimization).
• Fundamentals of deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, transformers, and other deep neural networks).
• Experience working with high-volume, data-rich environments.
• Fluency in Python and SQL (or similar relational database systems) and excellent verbal and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience in a corporate environment or finance/fintech industry.
• Experience with GenAI (LLMs, RAG workflows, AI Agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, or similar tools).
• Experience with deep learning model lifecycle (problem definition through evaluation and monitoring).
