Applied AI Engineer (Agentic ML/AI): Building agentic end-to-end systems that author, train, deploy, monitor, and self-heal production machine learning models with an accent on scalable ML infrastructure, predictive solutions, and forecasting. Focus on architecting model training and serving systems, developing state-of-the-art ML models, and solving infrastructure challenges in Tier 0 production environments.

What you will do
- Build agentic end-to-end systems for software engineers, ML engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and MLOps engineers.
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art ML and AI models and systems for Databricks products, infrastructure, and services.
- Architect and implement scalable ML infrastructure, including model training and serving components for production integration.
- Develop solutions for personalized recommendations, fraud detection, dynamic pricing, forecasting, and predictive or what-if business questions.
- Work on novel forecasting techniques and contribute to engineering and product initiatives across Databricks.
- Contribute to conferences and open-source projects.
Requirements
- 2–8 years of engineering experience in high-velocity, high-growth companies.
- Strong software engineering skills and familiarity with testing and deployment principles.
- Experience developing AI/ML systems at scale in production, or infrastructure and systems engineering experience with willingness to develop ML expertise.
- Experience with ML modeling beyond standard libraries is beneficial.
- Ability to work with a small, international engineering team in a flat and agile organization.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring models in production.
- Understanding of infrastructure challenges involved in training and serving predictions in Tier 0 environments.
