Engineering Specialist II

Location: Woodlands, Singapore; onsite manufacturing facility. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Assemble, align, and integrate mechanical and electrical subsystems for sputtering equipment using schematics and build instructions.
• Install vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, control panels, and related equipment components.
• Perform functional and quality checks during and after installations.
• Troubleshoot and rework basic mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Support equipment installation, conversions, upgrades, and reliability improvements with engineering teams.
• Follow safety and cleanroom standards in a structured manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, plus willingness to learn.
• Willingness to start on a normal weekday shift and transition to a permanent 12-hour shift, including nights and weekends, as operationally required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are welcome.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment assembly or mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges.
• Experience in cleanroom environments and with vacuum systems.
