Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: USA; applicants must be sole U.S. Citizens. Dual citizens are not eligible. Remote work may be available when permitted by contract.

What you will do

• Develop responsive and accessible React interfaces for a greenfield AI solution within an enterprise search platform.
• Build and integrate backend APIs for reports, sessions, authentication, application state, and user workflows.
• Create data-heavy experiences for summaries, findings, citations, and navigation to source documents.
• Collaborate with AI, backend, and data engineers on API contracts, error handling, performance, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot frontend, backend, authentication, and integration issues while improving browser compatibility and application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, technical documentation, and user-feedback cycles.

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating user interfaces with RESTful backend APIs.
• Ability to contribute to Python or comparable backend services.
• Experience building data-heavy web applications, reports, or workflow-driven interfaces.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, session management, and authentication integration.
• Strong debugging, testing, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience presenting citations, provenance, or linked source material.
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Experience with data grids, document viewers, reporting interfaces, or spreadsheet-like components.
• Experience supporting federal, regulated, or security-conscious applications.
