TL;DR
Associate Generalist - People & Culture (HR) (Manufacturing HR): Supporting HR operations and employee relations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Supply Chain with an accent on performance management, recruiting, HRIS administration, and employee engagement. Focus on resolving personnel issues, administering employee lifecycle processes, supporting payroll and benefits, and coordinating initiatives across local and out-of-state client groups.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina 28273, United States; monthly travel and 20–25% travel required.

Salary: $56,500–$77,700 per year base salary.

What you will do

  • Support HR business partnering, performance management, recruiting, employee relations, and high-performance team development.
  • Implement initiatives supporting talent selection, onboarding, mentoring, development, and retention.
  • Interpret and administer employee policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs while resolving personnel issues.
  • Coordinate employee activities, site meetings, town halls, celebrations, and leadership events.
  • Administer HRIS transactions across the employee lifecycle, compensation, benefits, and leave processes.
  • Support payroll, invoicing, uniforms, supplies, onboarding, records, reporting, engagement programs, and HR systems maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Alternatively, previous supervisory or team-lead experience with demonstrated employee relations experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, projects, and administrative tasks while supporting employees and managers at all levels.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, time-management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience acting as an organizational change agent.
