Associate, Industrial & Laboratory Systems Engineering (Network Infrastructure)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week office-based at the hirify.global Network Operations Center. Office hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotating shifts.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data center, LAN, WAN, wireless, voice/video, and public cloud infrastructure.
• Design, configure, implement, and test LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center connectivity, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and security, resolve incidents and major incidents, and coordinate ISP and vendor support for service restoration.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network systems with servers, storage, applications, and laboratory systems.
• Support security, compliance, audits, change management, service reviews, and continual improvement activities.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, procedures, reports, and technical documentation while providing support to end users and IT staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience monitoring and troubleshooting WLAN, LAN switching, routers, SD-WAN devices, voice/video systems, and cloud operations.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, ITIL, Cisco, Juniper, AWS, and Azure; experience with network management solutions, Meraki, ISE, or BlueCat DDI is relevant.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting LAN environments, implementing infrastructure changes, fulfilling IT requests, and working with telecom providers and suppliers.
• Ability to work at the Mexico City hirify.global Network Operations Center and work rotating shifts.
• Advanced English is required. Strong independent problem-solving, structured troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills are expected.
