Senior Manager, Oncology Marketing (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Austria, field-based, with a hybrid work model; support for oncology activities across Austria, Switzerland, and Portugal. Travel of approximately 30–40% is required.

Salary: 87,525–145,875 annually.

What you will do

• Lead local oncology brand marketing plan development and execution.
• Analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities and risks, and shape brand strategy in line with global direction.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, global teams, agencies, and external partners on market approaches.
• Drive compliant promotional activities and adapt global materials for local market use.
• Plan congresses, healthcare professional engagement, and other events.
• Manage priorities, relationships, budgets, and the balance between strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology brand marketing.
• Strong knowledge of the Austrian and Swiss healthcare markets.
• Experience managing agencies and external partners.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance and promotional regulations.
• Proficiency in English and German; willingness to travel approximately 30–40%.

Nice to have

• Oncology marketing experience, including immuno-oncology.
• Product launch experience.
• Strong prioritization, relationship-building, and budget management skills.
