Test Engineer (Photonics)

What you will do

• Own test strategy, coverage, execution, and issue escalation for assigned products.
• Define and maintain manufacturing and reliability test plans, specifications, and coverage requirements.
• Plan and execute reliability testing under environmental, mechanical, and operational stress conditions.
• Analyze test, reliability, yield, performance, and quality data to identify failures and improvement opportunities.
• Support new product introduction, product transfers, production ramp, qualification, documentation release, and engineering change management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, and global engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Physics, or related Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in test engineering or reliability engineering in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience developing, executing, and analyzing manufacturing tests.
• Experience with reliability testing, qualification, and validation activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Effective English communication and the ability to work in a global team environment are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonics, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field.
