General Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions

What you will do

• Build and lead an M&A pipeline aligned with strategic priorities and long-term growth ambitions.
• Originate, evaluate, and execute acquisitions, divestments, partnerships, and capital recycling opportunities.
• Lead complex transactions from origination through completion, including investment cases, valuation analyses, and recommendations.
• Advise senior leaders, Boards, and Investment Committees on strategic and investment decisions.
• Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance throughout transactions.
• Partner with business units on integration, separation, value capture, and M&A capability building.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
• Proven track record originating and executing acquisitions, divestments, partnerships, or strategic investments.
• Strong end-to-end deal ownership and execution experience.
• Experience advising executive leadership teams, Boards, or Investment Committees.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and build M&A capability.
• Relevant tertiary qualification, strong commercial judgment, and strategic thinking.
