Financial Analyst (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Build financial models and value frameworks for long-term asset investment decisions.
• Support the development of Meridian’s asset management capability.
• Evaluate investments, business cases, forecasts, and long-term value outcomes.
• Recommend analytical approaches and challenge existing assumptions.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to gather expertise and build alignment.

Requirements

• Experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or commercial roles in a complex operational or asset-intensive environment.
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting skills.
• Experience evaluating investments, business cases, and long-term value outcomes.
• Understanding of how digital, data, and analytics capabilities support asset management and operational performance.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong technical and non-technical communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
