What you will do

• Underwrite and accept commercial property business in line with underwriting principles, delegated authority, and risk and compliance procedures.
• Build a sustainable and profitable property portfolio while contributing to financial targets and business plans.
• Develop new business opportunities and manage relationships with producers, clients, and industry groups.
• Support market share growth through new distribution opportunities and stronger client relationships.
• Maintain accurate files, registers, and records for audits, reporting, and timely policy issuance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a commercial insurance environment with exposure to clients or intermediaries.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property policy wordings.
• Ability to interpret modelled output, pricing, and line-setting tools to assess growth opportunities.
• Strong work ethic, motivation to succeed, and interest in progressing an insurance career.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to a service-excellence culture as a team player.
