Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Barcelona HQ or New York City; hybrid, mostly remote, with occasional office attendance and approximately 30–40% travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Own technical and operational customer deployments from kickoff through the first insight.
• Analyze customer tools, workflows, team structures, and data to create tailored deployment plans.
• Build custom code, analyses, integrations, and dashboards when standard solutions do not fit.
• Work directly with customer teams on-site and translate field observations into product feedback.
• Define and document a scalable deployment and onboarding playbook.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of engineering experience, ideally in solutions engineering, deployment, professional services, developer advocacy, or a customer-facing embedded role.
• Fluent Python skills and willingness to work with Django.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and real-world systems integrations.
• Ability to combine hands-on coding with customer communication and technical consulting.
• Fluent English required.
• Comfort with regular customer-facing work, travel, ambiguity, and ownership of an emerging function.

Nice to have

• Integration experience with Git providers, issue trackers, chat platforms, and other developer collaboration tools.
• Practical experience with LLM prompting, RAG, evaluations, or guardrails.
• Experience creating a function or playbook from scratch.
• Technical experience supporting mid-market or enterprise B2B customers.
• Spanish language skills.
